My New Obsession: Brush-Free Blush

Spring may still be a distant dream, but there is no time like the present to start with the spring-cleaning of your makeup bag (or bags, if you are a beauty junkie like me). Out with the old and in with the new is my motto when it comes to spring’s new makeup lines. Sometimes, however, there are those products that are just too hard to part with—unless you have a guaranteed great replacement lined up!

Kiss of Colour Cheek Blush I have my fair share of go-to blushes, Nars Orgasm and Benefit’s Dandelion and Throb just to name a few, but it was love at first sight when The Body Shop’s Kiss of Colour Cheek Blush ($14) made its way across my desk a couple weeks ago. While the silky powder formula and sheer pink colour (I have Vibrant Rose, but it's also available in Golden Coral) are wonderful, it’s the clever packaging that really gets me with this little beauty.

This innovative “blush-stamp” applies the perfect amount of colour in one simple step and the mirrored end is ideal for touchups on the go. Added bonus: it’s compact size (no need for a brush!) means it’s never going to be cumbersome to carry around town. This is one product I don’t think will be leaving my makeup collection when next year’s clean sweep comes around—what product is possibly going to top this?

Let’s discuss: Have you started your beauty bag spring-cleaning yet? What will stay and what will go this year? Tried my new obsession yet? Love it as much as I do? Have another genius blush product you think we should know about? We want to hear about it!
