Who Sees You Without Makeup?

It’s probably not the best thing for a beauty editor to admit, but I am a lazy makeup applicator. As a result, it is not uncommon for me to only apply cosmetics a few days a week or when I know I really want to look sharp. I really never thought that much about not having any qualms about walking out into the world without any makeup until I stumbled upon a piece of research out of the UK indicating that 70 percent of women never leave the house without some form of cosmetics on—no wonder it takes some ladies so long to get ready in the morning!

Only Sexy DNA Need Apply: BeautifulPeople.com Want To Help You Make A "Beautiful Baby"

If you haven’t yet heard of the dating website BeautifulPeople.com please brace yourself for a stomach testing display of shallowness before you check out the site which only allows “attractive people” to apply as members. Yes, that’s right; you must apply and then be deemed hot enough by the existing members in order to gain access to the “genetically blessed” singles. It would seem, however, that since their judgmental website is no longer buzz worthy, BeautifulPeople’s attention-whoring founder, Robert Hintze, has dreamed up an even more controversial way of getting press: A sperm and egg bank to create the world’s most beautiful babies!

Would You Ever Buy Something “Designed” By A Jersey Shore Cast Member?

Yah ok, the Jersey Shore has some entertainment value—how else can people outside of the garden state see self-proclaimed Guidos and Guidettes in their natural environment? But I don’t care who you are, trucker hats, too-tight rhinestone t-shirts and tops that are treated as dresses are not good looks. How is it then that two of the show's cast members, Jenni "JWoww" Farley and Mike “The Situation” Sorrentino, are both venturing into the apparel business? It never ceases to amaze me how everyone thinks they are a freaking designer these days…

Do You Scrimp Or Splurge On Swimwear?

Being the lucky duck that I am, I am going to be heading off to Australia in just over a week. Don’t get too jealous just yet though, because along with the excitement of a global backpacking adventure comes the stress of packing for such an expedition and the knowledge that I’m going to be spending the better part of a month in a bathing suit—Eeek!

Prego Ladies Beware: Study Finds Heels & Flats A Major No-No

Having never been pregnant myself, I can’t say for sure, but I would imagine the belly throwing your balance off would not encourage wearing high heels all that often? A recent poll conducted by the Society of Chiropodists and Podiatrists found that heels aren’t the only style of footwear resulting in serious suffering for pregos—flip flops, ballet flats and Ugg boots should also be ruled out!

Are Brown-Eyed Boys More Lust Worthy Than Their Light-Eyed Peers?

The human race generally values items that are rare, so I always sort of thought that light eyes were regarded as more attractive across the board. There is just something so alluring to me about an icy-cold stare. Particularly if those pale blue peepers are attached to a package that looks like Ian Somerhalder. Seriously, have you seen that guy? Truly outstanding! According to a new study out of the Czech Republic, however, it’s the dark-eyed lads that come across as more dominant, a characteristic that ultimately attracts us to our sexual partners.

No Bangs Allowed: American Apparel's Wacky Grooming Policies Revealed

It’s a little trendy these days to pick on American Apparel for their seedy founder/ pornorific ad campaigns/ over priced spandex etc., but it seems that the company has found themselves in hot water yet again after gawker.com somehow got their hands on some internal emails outlining the company’s extensive grooming policies...

Love It or Lose It: Katy Perry’s California Gurl Look?

Katy Perry is a cool chick; there is no question about that. A talented songwriter, a killer sense of humour and a body that could easily march the Victoria’s Secret catwalk—Russell Brand is one lucky bloke! But while I am very fond of Perry as a whole, I do often find myself having a bit of trouble embracing her over-the-top sense of style…

What's Your Go-To Summer Nail Polish Hue?

I’ve never been much of a nail painter. In fact, until recently I have been known to be a bit of a nail biter. The best way to stop biting your nails, it turns out, is to start painting them, so I have started to acquire quite the collection of nail lacquers in order to keep my digits out of harms way.  Just last week I stumbled upon a colour with so much zing it functions as a bit of a mood enhancer—I know that’s a lot to ask of a nail polish, but I swear it’s true! Check it out after the jump.

Are You A Fan Of Garter Belts? You Might Be Soon!

The underwear as outerwear trend for spring was perhaps a little much for most women to wear, but if you are into the lingerie look a new story out of the UK indicates that you are not alone. According to The Daily Mail, the sales of stockings and garter belts were up a whopping 238% last month at Debenhams department store. That’s a whole lot of sexy going on my friends!
