Durex Launches A First In Wearable Technology

There officially isn't a thing your smartphone can't do—and that includes foreplay. Thanks to a new line of underwear by Durex - and a corresponding iPhone app - you can now control genital stimulation from the touch of a screen. They are calling it Fundawear.

With a pair of briefs for the boys and a bra and panty set for the ladies, Fundawear intends to give your partner the reins to your privates. The app provides a map of erogenous zones, allowing them to control the location and sensation of vibrations in your undies from anywhere in the World Wide Web.

Get the Look: Fashion in "The Great Gatsby"

The Great Gatsby
I don’t know about you, but I’ve definitely got Gatsby fever. I fell in love with the story back in the 10th grade and have continued to be obsessed with the Roaring ‘20s ever since – especially the fashion.

Not surprisingly, there has been a ton of buzz surrounding the fashion in Baz Lurhmann’s remake of F. Scott Fitzgerald’s
The Great Gatsby (in theatres May 10th). Oscar-winning costume designer Catherine Martin collaborated with Tiffany & Co. for the jewels and Brooks Brothers for the menswear seen in the film adaptation of the classic American novel -- a nod to the authenticity of the film, as F. Scott Fitzgerald was a customer of both brands.

Cigarettes Are So Passé

Wenn20270714
Among the fashion Hits and Disses at the MTV Movie Awards this weekend, one particular eyesore stood out. Actress Hana Mae Lee wore a smushed cigarette butt as a hat—presumably, her brain being the ashtray. Not only is this one heck of a tacky look and statement, but hasn't she heard? Cigarettes are so passé. There's a new nicotine in town and, like any good accessory in 2013, it's electronically charged.

With spring comes a season of special events, and for many fashion lovers, that means new dresses, heels, and clutches. The one and only thing I dread about my wardrobe's glamourous turn-about is how on earth I'm going to fit the evening's necessities into one little bag. Luckily there's a new Vancouver-made line of bags that has more than enough room for your lipstick and phone—in fact, you could probably fit a full change of clothes into some of Mary Rich's wickedly oversized clutches.

The New Way To Wear Jewelry

Screen Shot 2013-03-15 at 1.42.18 AM
This season, take everything you know about jewelry and toss it out the window! Okay, that's an exaggeration, but I urge you to at least rethink its placement. Silver and gold is creeping away from those go-to hot spots (the standard fingers, wrists, and lobes) and charting new territory. Here's a look at some of the new (and somewhat recycled) ways to wear it:

Asian-Inspired Fashion Picks

Amidst fashion week and Valentine's Day falls another important event - Chinese New Year!

February 10th marks the first of 15 days of celebration (think homemade dumplings, dragon dancing, and red envelopes) to ring in the Lunar New Year.

And whether you're Chinese or not, you can easily get into the spirit with Chinese-inspired fashion picks.

New Year's Eve: Dance The Night Away With Damn Heels

Champagne_gold_1_1Despite my complaints all year 'round that "New Year's is overhyped", when the day finally arrives, I can't help but be excited. Not because of the midnight kisses and prospects of a new year ahead, oh no. It's the glittery fashions, of course, that get me revved up for an evening of once-a-year glamour.

There is nothing worse, however, than wearing an outfit that only makes it to midnight and the first thing to go is usually the heels. As much as they lift and elongate, many high heels also serve as successful torture devices. In comes your New Year's Eve backup: Damn Heels.

Jewelry Picks To Dress Up Your Holiday Look

It seems like every night there is another holiday bash, but who wants to spend their hard-earned money on a new outfit for each occasion? Let's face it: The holidays are expensive enough with all the gifts and groceries. That's why I like to keep the clothing simple and use accessories to change up my look. Seriously, one little black dress with a handful of accessories does many outfits make.

Here are a few of my favourite glitzy pieces to  turn your LBD into a go-to for every holiday occasion:

Anne Hathaway Dares To Wear The Tom Ford Gladiator Pumps

Wenn20024047

There is always one majorly controversial item to come out of the international fashion shows. Normally the honour is bestowed upon Prada or Chanel with their flatform oxfords and hula hoop handbags, respectively, but one of the most recent show stoppers belonged to Tom Ford and his over-the-top over-the-knee gladiator pumps.

The S&M-style shoes blew up the Twitterverse, with the majority of people thinking they were - for lack of a better word - ugly. But often times it's simply tough to understand the runway version in a real world setting.

Holiday Gift Ideas For The Techie In Your Life

Gift giving, while fun, can be awfully stressful. What I tend to do is drop the ones I love into categories - the Techie, the Girly Girl, the Homebody, etc. - so that I can seek out the latest and greatest gifts to suit their lifestyle.

Leading up to Christmas, I'll unveil a few holiday gift guides to help assist you in picking out something for everyone on your list. Today, let's take a look at great buys for the Techie in your life:

Screen Shot 2012-12-09 at 12.49.13 PM Tired of freezing your digits off every time you need to text out of doors? These Quill and Tine Gloves, $115 - $130, available at quillandtine.com, are not only incredibly chic, but they are specially formulated to work with any touchscreen device, so that you can type away under a protective layer of Italian lambskin, cashmere, or wool.
