Not surprisingly, there has been a ton of buzz surrounding the fashion in Baz Lurhmann’s remake of F. Scott Fitzgerald’s The Great Gatsby (in theatres May 10^th). Oscar-winning costume designer Catherine Martin collaborated with Tiffany & Co. for the jewels and Brooks Brothers for the menswear seen in the film adaptation of the classic American novel -- a nod to the authenticity of the film, as F. Scott Fitzgerald was a customer of both brands.

Kristen Stewart has been looking incredible post-cheating scandal, and at last night’s Twilight: Breaking Dawn Part II premiere, she pulled out all the stops with a racy, nude Zuhair Murad gown.

Lately I've been having a love affair with the 1920s and it appears I'm not the only one. Woody Allen just gave the decade a major nod in Midnight In Paris; Boardwalk Empire has been heating up the ratings with its look back on the roaring years of prohibition; The Vampire Diaries has been flashing back to the years of flappers and coat tails; Gucci is celebrating its 90th anniversary with G Gucci 1921, a line the revives its classic vintage looks from year one; and Baz Lurhman is finally filming his long awaited remake of The Great Gatsby starring Leonardo DiCaprio with Carey Mulligan as Daisy Buchanan. With the film's release many months away - perhaps even years - it looks like we're just on the cusp of this Twenties revival.

When it comes to my hair, I am a creature of comfort. If it’s not down in its usual very straight/very blunt bangs state, it is usually pulled back in a pony for the gym or slicked back in a high ballerina bun for those between wash winter days. While I do covet flippy '50s ponytails, side braids, and sleek twists as much as the next gal, it just seems like they would take so much effort to achieve and, quite frankly, I can be mighty lazy…

You know the old saying, “Women want to be her and men want to be with her”? Well, I'm pretty sure it was coined with Rachel Bilson in mind. There are some women that manage to appeal to both men and women equally and Bilson, with her laid-back girl-next-door vibe, does just that. That doesn’t mean, however, that Bilson can’t turn up the heat when necessary….

For as long as I can remember, if a starlet wanted to get a little attention in the press all she really had to do was slip into a dress that was more risqué than we had previously seen. Slowly, but surely, though, this exercise in provocative dressing continued upping the ante until finally we got to the point where pants were suddenly optional on a regular Friday night on the town—thanks so much for that Lady Gaga. Thankfully, though, it would appear that as of late Hollywood trendsetters are finding a refreshing (and dare I say classy) way to expose some skin. Check it out after the jump.

Looking your most beautiful in winter can be a tall order. Hat hair and static can wreak havoc on your tresses, chapped or cracked lips seem pretty inevitable and in most of North America, those that stay out of the tanning beds and aren't blessed with olive or darker skin colours, have less than a healthy glow. Come January, most of us have embraced, or at least accepted, the paler end of our complexion spectrum. There are some people though, who go into overdrive trying to fight their pasty tendencies, even in the dead of winter. Jessica Alba is no stranger to shaking up her look. The actress is perpetually trying different hair hues on for size and doesn’t shy away from taking risks with her styles on the red carpet. The one area in which Alba usually plays it safe, however, is her cuts, usually opting for mid-length waves with a few layers. Well, looks like Miss Alba is turning over a new leaf for 2011, as she debuted a brand new, much sleeker 'do, at the premiere of Little Fockers late last week. Check it out after the jump…

If there is one hair hue that has been dominating the world of style lately it has to be red. More and more redheaded models were seen walking the catwalks at the most recent New York Fashion Week and a plethora of Hollywood starlets have been dabbling with the warmer hues on their recent trips to the salon. As we discussed in September, red hair is having a serious moment. Interesting then, that one of the ginger brigade’s top ambassadors, Emma Stone, has just ditched her usual fiery hue for a more traditional bombshell look. See what I’m talking about after the jump.
