The collection was first shown at World MasterCard Fashion Week back in March, but we got a more in-depth look at the pieces on Tuesday during the brand’s preview.

Rudsak’s fall collection was a mixture of ‘70s disco and ‘90s grunge. “Think Abba meets Kurt Cobain,” said Matthew Flemming, Rudsak district manager for Ontario. "It sounds crazy, but it makes sense once you see the collection."

And it truly did. The entire collection stayed true to Rudsak nature -- timeless, with an edge. We saw plenty of pieces with the classic Rudsak silhouette, leather and fur accents, and a whole lot of cool.

Paris Fashion Week took a trip back to 1994 yesterday as Hedi Slimane revealed his latest collection for the label formerly known as Yves Saint Laurent. Plaid shirts, cardigan sweaters, baby doll dresses and biker boots rounded out the collection, resulting in a look that many are likening to that of the first couple of grunge, Kurt Cobain and Courtney Love. Models even capped off their Seattle style with messy dark eyeliner in Courtney's go-to morning-after finish.

Confession: UGG boots are my guilty pleasure. Many of my friends, coworkers, and probably several people on the street cringe when I wear them, but to be honest, I don't really care.

Back in my university days, I thought the sidewalk was my own personal runway. I'll never forget the day I wore a giant faux fur coat and a pair of stiletto booties to class. The fashion world on the other hand, chose style over practicality during New York Fashion Week. Though the shows were right in the midst of Nemo, the fashion elite still trekked through the blizzard in heels -- stilettos, wedges, and some even open-toed.

It seems like every night there is another holiday bash, but who wants to spend their hard-earned money on a new outfit for each occasion? I have my first of many holiday parties tonight and with the abundance of appetizers that await over the next 25 days, let's be honest - things are gonna get a little loose around the middle. I'm not alone - we're all faced with bad food and no time for workouts during the holiday season - and yet it's the time of year we are most subjected to tight clothes and tall shoes.

Eleven months of the year, I'm grateful that I can't grow a moustache. But when November - now lovingly referred to as Movember - hits, I can't help but feel a little bit left out.
